Het team van Offshore and More wenst je een heel goed, gezond en muzikaal 2024!

Aanstaande donderdagavond 26 december van 20:00-22:00 kun je op 192radio luisteren naar deel 3 van een vierdelige serie programma’s over Radio Caroline International in de maanden na 14 augustus 1967.

Veel luisteraars van de Engelse zeezenders, die op 15 augustus 1967 om 00:00 gedwongen werden om te stoppen, waren vanaf toen aangewezen op Caroline, dat zich Caroline International ging noemen.

Frank van Heerde vertelt veel over het station, Kees Brinkerink over de muziek. Voor wie in die periode na 14 augustus 1967 veel naar Caroline International luisterde, wordt het een feest der herkenning, want er worden alleen nummers gedraaid die veel op dat station te horen waren en zo de sfeer ervan terugbrengen. This coming Thursday, December 26th, from 19:00 till 21:00 UK time, on www.192radio.nl you can listen to part 3 of a 4-part series about Radio Caroline International in the months after august 14th, 1967.

Many listeners of the offshore stations, that were forced to close down on August 15th, 1967 at 00:00, were then confined to Caroline, from then on calling itself Radio Caroline International. 

Frank van Heerde will tell you a lot about the station, Kees Brinkerink talks about the music. For anyone who listened a lot to Radio Caroline International in the period after August 14th, 1967, it will be a feast of recognition, for only songs are played that were heard a lot on that station, thus bringing back it’s atmosphere.
